Disclaimer

TrippyCharts™ is an entertainment and visualization toy. It is not a broker, adviser, exchange, or data vendor.

Desktop only

TrippyCharts™ is built for a desktop or laptop browser with a mouse. Phones and tablets will look wrong, miss the cursor toy, and make the game nearly unplayable. Use a computer.

How to play

Toys fall in the background. Move your mouse so the cursor (the squid) eats them; it grows, then blobs and resets. Toy Store: pick up to 5 falling toys. The Toys slider sets how many fall. The SFX and Cursor toggles are in the left menu. Each chart has a VOL checkbox to show volume bars. LINES (next to VOL) shows EMA 9 and EMA 20 (plus SMA 50 on daily and weekly), and on intraday charts VWAP and the prior day's high, low and close as dashed lines. Drag a chart to the right to scroll back in time; tap LIVE ▸ to jump back to the newest candle. To mark a price, click the price scale (the column of prices on the right edge of a chart) and a purple level line appears there; right-click a line to remove it. Level lines are saved per ticker on every timeframe.

Refresh button (↻, next to the Toys slider): after you change your toys in the Toy Store, the old ones can keep falling for a while. Click refresh to clear the screen and drop 200 of your currently selected toys right away.

Play Game starts game mode fullscreen: charts hide, a boss toy floats around. Suck toys and spit them into the boss. Each hit is 1 point. After the 3rd boss kill a second boss appears, then another after the 4th, and so on. You have one life bar. Getting touched costs 20%. When you die, enter a name for high scores. Esc leaves the game.

Not financial advice

Nothing on this site is investment, tax, or trading advice. Do your own research. You can lose money trading. We do not promise profits, signals, or “alpha.”

Charts are imperfect

Prices and candles are pulled from third-party public sources (including Yahoo Finance-style endpoints). Data can be delayed, missing, aggregated wrong, or plotted on the wrong timeframe. After-hours prints may not match a 30-minute candle. Live last-candle animation is a visual estimate, not an official print. Do not place orders from these charts. Confirm every number on your broker.

Outages and changes

Feeds, toys, passes, and features can break, change, or disappear without notice. We owe you no uptime, accuracy, or specific toy rotation.

Store

Payments are for cosmetic toys, cursor skins, and candle skins, not market data. Regular toys are $1 each, and extra cursors and candle themes are $3 each. Mushrooms, the squid cursor, and the basic candle theme are always free. Everything else must be bought (or, for regular toys, unlocked with a Trippy Pass free unlock). One-off unlocks are not refundable.

Trippy Pass

The Trippy Pass is an optional subscription for $5 a month. It renews automatically every month until you cancel.

Each month, 5 new subscriber-only toys plus one new candle theme and one new cursor are released. Subscribers can use every pass toy, theme and cursor released so far while the pass is active. These pass items are never sold separately.

Subscribers also pick one store theme and one store cursor to use while the pass is active. Picks can be changed once every 30 days. Picks are not purchases: they stop working when the pass ends and come back if you subscribe again.

When you subscribe you get 5 free unlocks. Each one permanently unlocks one regular store toy you don't already own, and toys you unlock this way stay yours even after you cancel. Unlocks can't be used on pass toys, cursors, or themes, and they have no cash value.

Pass holders also keep a saved paper trading portfolio in this browser (localStorage). Without a Pass, paper trading still works with fake money but resets to $10,000 on every full page load.

Cancel anytime with "manage pass". You keep the pass until the end of the month you already paid for, then pass toys, pass themes and cursors, and your picks lock again. There are no refunds or credits for partial months.

There are no accounts or logins. Your pass, unlocks, and toys are tied to this browser on this computer. If you clear your browser data or switch browsers or computers, use "Restore purchases" in the Toy Store: enter the email you used at checkout and we'll email you a 6-digit code that moves your purchases to the new browser.
